You're invited to help the Duluth Fine Arts League (DFAL) celebrate Duluth history and make the dreams of young artists come true.
Help Sponsor a DFAL Cricket
DFAL is raising money to buy one of the cricket sculptures created by local professional artists Michael Dillon and Matt Phillips to represent a colorful aspect of Duluth's past: the former "cricket box" factory on Main Street that produced the special containers to carry the lively insects as fishing bait.
Part of the purchase price of the cricket sculpture pictured here will go to create scholarships for high school students planning to study for a college degree in the arts. The sculpture will eventually occupy a prominent spot in the City for everyone to enjoy.
You can help DFAL reach its $5000 purchase-price goal by making a cash, check or electronic donation today.
Please consider a one-time $50 donation, although smaller donations are appreciated.
Donors who contribute a minimum of $50 will receive a photograph of the installed cricket sculpture, signed by the artists.
DFAL is Duluth's not-for-profit community arts organization, serving citizens, artists and art lovers in the City and its surroundings. It is committed to encouraging individual and corporate participation in the performing, musical, literary, and visual arts.
Because we are a 501c3 organization, your donation is tax-deductible.
